The Department is organised on a Divisional basis with offices in each of the three local authority areas covered by the Valuation Joint Board.

The Tayside Assessor is Clark Low who is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He was appointed Assessor on 1 April 2004 and heads a team of 73 staff, comprising professional, technical, administrative, clerical and information technology support.

The Assessor and his headquarters and IT staff are based in the Department's Divisional office in Dundee.

Dundee Division

The Dundee Division office is managed by Depute Assessor John Galbraith FRICS, supported by Principal Valuers Ian Leitch MRICS Bsc(Hons) and Richard Michalski MRICS.

Perth and Kinross Division

John Imrie MRICS is the Depute Assessor in charge of the Perth & Kinross Divisional office situated in Perth, where Roy Christie MRICS is the Principal Valuer.

Angus Division

Henry Gray MRICS Dip Rating is the Depute Assessor responsible for managing the Angus Divisional office in Forfar, where he is supported by Principal Valuer Donald Allan MA MRICS.
