The Department is organised on a Divisional basis with offices in each of the three local authority areas covered by the Valuation Joint Board.

The Tayside Assessor is John Galbraith who is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He was appointed Assessor on 1 July 2011 and heads a team of 73 staff, comprising professional, technical, administrative, clerical and information technology support.

The Depute Assessor for Tayside is Henry Gray MRICS Dip Rating.

The Assessor, Depute Assessor, headquarters and IT staff are based in the Department's Divisional office in Dundee.

Dundee Division

The Dundee Division office is managed by Assistant Assessor Richard Michalski MRICS.

Perth and Kinross Division

The Assistant Assessor responsible for managing the Perth office is Roy Christie MRICS, supported by Ian Leitch Bsc (Hons) MRICS.

Angus Division

Donald Allan MA MRICS is the Assistant Assessor responsible for managing the Angus Divisional office in Forfar.
